This episode features two Londoners, one of whom texted me after last week’s episode to tell me “The Lounge has got me fired up! Want to drive to Milton to and meet Anthony.”

Jacob McCourt (Left Behind Game Club)
Jacob arrived at podcasting through his childhood admiration of game show hosts, a decision to quit his job to study radio communications at Humber College, and ultimately (like many) via TWiT. Now an MBA student, Jacob produces the Left Behind Game Club podcast (about computer gaming) and plans to dust off his fascinating No Coaster Needed podcast which has been dormant for a year (since the completion of season one) at the end of this school year. He’s also hinting at a new podcast with his partner, Jessica.

Bill Deys (DeysCast)
Bill is well known to the OGs (I just learned this term) as an early and prolific podcaster (DeysCast, Country Music Cast, 100 Down, The Geek Runner, Castroller, and Farm, Food, Fitness), active member and supporter of the Canadian podcast community, co-founder of UnLondon, organizer of London Geek Dinner and PodCamp London, and a partner in the Castroller audio service. When we reconnected in Ottawa the week following PCTO19, Bill told me he plans to get back into podcasting. And he has.
